However, from time to time we may advertise extras for sale locally for pick-up only. Another way the public can get their hands on our delicious product is to visit one of the retailers or restaurants that we provide for. Those will be listed on the website soon.
Listed below are many of the types, and varieties of produce that GRG has experimented with in our aquaponics system, as well as a description of the level of success we experienced with each, and how each does at market versus the labor/time they take to produce. Clicking on the title of each item will present a larger image of that particular item.
If you cannot get your hands on the best produce in the world perhaps the information we share will provide you with the knowledge needed to grow the best produce in the world on your very own.

A fast growing herb with a rich, and delightful aroma that can’t be missed while passing by the basil section in the greenhouse. We have only just experimented with basil, as little market has been found, but for any big basil buyers, we can grow the best possible.[/vc_product_feature][/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”Baby Romaine” tab_id=”1428522334-2-19″][vc_product_feature title=”Dragoon” target=”_self” icon=”2781″ view_more=”false” href=””]This beautiful specimen is called Dragoon. It has become one of the more popular varieties amongst our buyers. It is an extremely dense head, with a gorgeous deep green appearance. Dragoon is another variety that was simply meant to be grown in an aquaponics system. Very quick grow times, and virtually no nutrient supplementation needs make Dragoon a terrific money crop in commercial aquaponics operations.[/vc_product_feature][vc_product_feature title=”Truchus” target=”_self” icon=”2607″ view_more=”false” href=””]Truchus is another variety of baby romaine that we have experimented with. Although it has a very appealing appearance, Truchus tends to take just a little to long to mature in our system to make it a feasible commercial crop. Nonetheless, this product is still a beautiful, and delicious option when preparing a fresh garden salad.[/vc_product_feature][vc_product_feature title=”Flashy Trout Back” target=”_self” icon=”2652″ view_more=”false” href=””]Flashy Trout Back is considered a baby romaine, however its leafy appearance makes this variety difficult to package, and more of a challenge to market than typical baby romaine varieties. However, its speckled trait gives this variety the ability to create uniquely beautiful dishes.[/vc_product_feature][vc_product_feature title=”Breen” target=”_self” icon=”2649″ view_more=”false” href=””]Breen has the same desirable appearance, and flavor as the Truchus variety, although Breen is a deeper green, produces a denser head, and grows fast enough for good turnover in a commercial setting. Breen is a staff favorite, and is quickly becoming more popular amongst buyers.[/vc_product_feature][/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”Leaf/Head Lettuce” tab_id=”1428522334-1-10″][vc_product_feature title=”Red Lollo” target=”_self” icon=”2786″ view_more=”false” href=””]Red Lollo is a leafy green lettuce with fire red edges to compliment. A delicious variety, Green River grows this on occasion when demand is present. Very fast growing variety in an aquaponics system.[/vc_product_feature][/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”Other Vegetables ” tab_id=”1428684807154-3-0″][vc_product_feature title=”Purple Kohlrabi” target=”_self” icon=”2783″ view_more=”false” href=””]In our experience it may be necessary to supplement calcium and iron in an aquaponics system to get the results you desire when growing kohlrabi. However, with just a little extra work you can produce very nice plants. This purple kohlrabi shown here is simply delectable, and was well worth the effort. Although, the labor, and the grow time make kohlrabi a difficult money crop.[/vc_product_feature][/vc_tab][/vc_tour][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][ctitle title=”Organic Certification” uppercase=”yes” color=”#666666″ background=”#f7f7f7″ font_size=”30 – Default” font_weight=”normal” position=”center”][vc_single_image image=”2835″ img_link_large=”yes” img_link_target=”pretty_photo” img_size=”300×200″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
